Puthumukhangal has been produced under the banner of Cinema Kottaka by T A Salavuddin.This is his second film after the highly successful 'Veruthe Oru Bharya'. This film bring together six newcomers appearing in key roles.Ragini Trivedi will don the heroine's role in the film. 'Puthumukhangal' is directed by the director duo Don Alex and Baiju Majeed who would be making their directorial debut through the film. Along with the fresh faces, the film also has veteran actors like Innocent, Saleem Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Bijukuttan, Sivaji Guruvayoor, Geeta Vijayan, Tanya and Ranjita as well. Yesteryear actor Sainuddin's son makes his acting debut in Malayalam cinema with this film. Another interesting fact about the film is that the producer has given the right to name the newcomers to the audience!
