Indrajith - Profile

Indrajith was born on December 17, 1979 as Indrajith Sukumaran in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He is the elder son of late Malayalam actor Sukumaran and actress Mallika Sukumaran. His brother Prithviraj is also a well known actor. Indrajith's famous roles are in Lal Jose's films, such as S.I. Eapen Pappachi in Meesha Madhavan, Komban Kumaran in Chanthupottu, and Pius George in Classmates.

A Sainik School alumnus, Indrajith got his degree in Computer Science from Rajas Engineering College near Nagercoil. He joined Nexage as a software professional before coming into acting, where he first appeared in a television film called Annie on December 13, 2002.He married actress Poornima Mohan.And they are blessed with two daughters named Praarthana and Nakshatra.His debut Hindi film, The Waiting Room, directed by Maneej Premnath, was released in January 2010.
