Khilladi is a complex
cocktail of five different interwoven stories. It is on the lines of the plots of Yuva, Om Shanthi et al. There will be five interwoven stories in the movie and each story belongs to one of the five main characters. Bollywood's Manoj Bajpai dons the role of another important character. The fifth character is a frail old man whose grandson is forced into indentured labour because of his inability to pay back the high interest on loans from a greedy creditor. Allu Arjun added comedy track to the movie. It is a film on humanity and is narrated in new format. And there are under-current commercial elements. Khilladi also invokes topical themes—trafficking in human organs, and theft by a youth enamored by glitz—that deserve attention and debate.
