Chattambinadu - Profile

Chattambinadu movie is all about Planter Virendra Mallaya (Mammootty)who is also a goonda with 37 criminal cases against him. When he goes to Chembanadu, in Karnataka, to buy a coffee plantation, he finds it overrun with criminals. So he takes it upon himself to clean the place up. Veerendra Mallayya, is a goon who is always dressed in white. The film talks about how not knowing a language like Malayalam, changes the course of life of this man. Laxmi Rai is back with Mammootty in this film. She plays Gauri, a village girl who confronts Veerendra Mallayya. Vinu Mohan plays Mammootty's brother.The action film would be laced with humor and loads of sentiments. Shafi is expected to work wonders at the box office again, with Chattambinaadu.
