After the long gap of years, Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi are once again together for the movie Janakan by debutant director N R Sanjeev. Janakan is casted by Mohan Lal, Suresh Gopi, Biju Menon, Harisree Asokan, Vijayaraghavan, Jyothirmayi, Kaveri, Krishna Nair,Priya lal etc.
Mohanlal – Suresh Gopi movies were always a hit, like Manichitra thazhu, irupatham noottandu etc. Even though they came together in recent movies Twenty twenty and pakalnakshatrangal, this movie contains a very challenging roles for both the actors. Suresh Gopi plays the role of Vishwam in Janakan, a man who has been convicted of murder. Mohanlal plays Surya Narayanan, an advocate who comes to the innocent man’s rescue when all gates are closed before him. Surya happens to be one of the best lawyers in the entire country and is known to have a wonderful way with his words. Surya Narayanan takes it upon himself to release Vishwam from the clutches of the judiciary, because he is convinced of the man’s innocence.
